So, I brought my 05 legacy in for the airbag replacement. 1 day after bringing in it, the CEL turned solid and the cruise control light flashes. The hazard button also doesn't light up and pushing it doesn't activate my hazards. Finally, I had a hardwired iphone connect put in on the secondary market when I first got my car that charged my phone, and played through the radio. Any idea what could cause all 3 problems? I know its going to be a fight with my dealership, they are horrible.

Hi all, I have a 2005 subaru legacy with a steering problem, I'm hoping someone can help me diagnose. Every time(particularly worse when just starting the car) when I turn the steering wheel either direction I get a high pitched squeel. In addition, over the last couple weeks I am getting resistance and what feel like a belt slipping when I do this. I took it to a mechanic who said it was my "steering column" and wasn't worth repairing, however I parallel park a lot, and it seems to be getting worse. Anyone know what this might be?
