I have a 1988 XT DL 2wd. that when i put in gear the passenger CV axle just spins and makes a grinding noise. thought it was a bad CV axle changed and it still does it. Any one have any ideas?

Well the 88 runs great new top end rebuid. But looks like crap. The 86 looks awesome but needs a rebuild. Looks like I am rebuilding the 86 ea82

The 86 has multi port FI. The 88 has FI also just looks a lot different.

Can I swap a 86 ea82 with a running 88 ea82 both are none turbo but they look different.
