I have exhaust leaks all over the place but haven't pulled the Y pipe yet to examine its integrity. (long list ahead of that!)
Question: Is it possible to run dual exhaust down the length of the car? Depending on where you live, a cat may be involved, but have you ever seen this done? Benefits, drawbacks?
Thanks, Dan

Zyewdall, I need a 4 spd shift knob and the transfer 2/4wd knob. If your neighbor wants to turn them loose I'd appreciate your help.
For $75 each, it seems like it would be easy enough to get your money back.

Thank you. Sorry 'bout that.

Please advise.
If there is an easy way to get a gas tank out of a 1980 Brat, I'd love to hear from you.
I noticed seam sealer and screws inside the pickup bed, should this sheet metal be removed? Do I have to drop the rear axle?
Free beer and wings to the right answer.
Thanks, Dan

My name is Dan and this is my first Subie, a 1980 Brat with 50,000 miles on it.
I started a small boat rebuild project to keep me occupied during the winter but it's almost finished and it isn't Christmas yet.
Then I heard about this Brat ......
I've been around cars quite a bit, built up some, built up some weirdos; humiliated a few motorcycles in the past so I'm not afraid of a little work. If you've got suggestions on what to do, what to look out for with this nice little truckette, please let me know.

Bust out the hub of your old one, trim the metal bits off and then drill and tap holes to accommodate your aftermarket wheel.
