Bowser

The noise I heard came only when I was accelerating and had a ringing noise to it. I thought at first it was a heat shield or something of that nature rattling in the front of the engine.

My forester is an automatic, Apparently there is a shaft that links motor to the transmission and he feels the bearing is at that point exiting the motor. With 300k I just don't know if it is worth it???? Engine sounds good and trany does too?? How difficult is it to remove the engine and replace the part?

300,000k on my forester, mechanic says it needs transaxle bearing. Do I need to drop engine to replace it? Is it worth doing or scap my super-ru
