  1. Changing the shift selector bulb in the center console

    MRWL8AGN posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    How does the bulb come out of the shift lever indicator in the center console? I have the surround off but removing the indicator seems to be rather complicated. I see two blue wires going into the indicator and they seem to be attached to a socket. However I cannot seem to get the socket out. I can't tell if it just pulls out or if it twists. It is plastic so I don't want to force it and break it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
