I get why you would want an MP3 player or phone out of the way, but it is hard for me to get a USB stick into the slot within the console. Perhaps its my advanced age and decrepid physical condition, but I'm fairly uncomfortable fooling around in that console from the driver's seat. And, yes, I know many manufacturers store those inputs in that same area, but not as far rearward. I can see the danger of having a USB drive sticking out of the radio area. Still, there has to be better positioning than this. Anyone use an extension successfully? Something just a few inches long would solve the problem for me.
