  1. it has nothing to do with the starter motor, its to do with the fault that is indicated with the power light on, which doesn't flash to find the fault, bugger it, I'm just going to take it to the mechanics and put an OBD on it,when it has been fixed i'll put the problem and the diagnostics up and then the steps to rectify the problem and the cost, cheers Stan.
  2. starter motor has contact, but solenoid doesn't throw gear out to mesh fly wheel? starter motor spins but doesn't contact flywheel, I think that the fault is overriding contact?
  3. nothing wrong with connections to battery, have checked all relays and fuses at boxes, fault not allowing the starter motor to engage, fault indicator (power light on at guage readout)
  4. new battery,300 000 k's, 2001 liberty, power to motor and starter not engaging solenoid, what ever the sensor is it's not allowing to start or override the fault?
  5. traveling down freeway and car stalls at 100kpm,power light comes on and wont turn over, does'nt engage starter motor ??? Power light constantly on and no flashes.
