Problem was in connections Thank you all

Let me list the problem again in detial I have Subaru Imperza WRX Model 1995 I replaced gearbox with another (for 1997 model) first week, it works normally, put i noticed "Power" indicator when i start the engine delays a few seconds. Next week, "Power" did not appear, so the car drive as 3rd gear, after few seconds "power" gets On and flashing, so the car drive normally. So, i try open switch several times (may be 10 times) until get "Power" indicator ON, and then start the engine. After Power gets On, flashing 16 times. What i can do to fix problem? Is the gearbox fault? Or is there electrical problem or electronic problem? I need help Thanks

Hello I have a Subaru Impreza 1995 like look: Problem: When i start engine, if the word "Power" is not appear, the transmission looks like on 4th gear and the car cann't run at 1st gear. So i try several times open the switch until the word "Power" is appear, then the transmission will operate normally without any problems on road with different speeds. does this is problem in Computer unit or the gearbox? Thanks
