  1. Good evening all, I am a new member to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I am a former mechanic and long distance truck driver who works locally now. My first Subaru was a 1982 GL 1800 with the EA82, next was a 1990 Loyale with 4WD, next was a 99 Legacy GT and now I ahve rebuilt a 2001 Forester for my Son, whi is now a Canadian Forces Soldier who will be leaving for quiet some time at the end of the month. That being said I have a spare EJ25 block minus the heads, took it apart and found it to be in very good condition, he has informed me he would like a turbo engine that being said, what would be the best way to go about it? I was thinking on getting the lock bored out and some forged internals, but what heads would be compatible with the lock and a Garrett turbo?
