I bought a 92 loyale last week for $425 the car runs excellent but last night out of nowhere it stopped working in drive I managed to get it home with only first and second and it seemed to be emitting a quiet high pitched mechanical whine after some research on here I found the stuff about the governor my question is are these symptoms consistant with a governor or does it sound like a more serious problem I didn't find anything mentioning the noise which is why I'm posting. Thanks for any help.
