  1. Fitting EG33 motor in a Forester

    Has anyone fitted the non turbo EG33 Legacy/Liberty 6cyl manual in a Forester ? How much work is invovled or is it just not going to fit ? Thanks

    Thanks for the info, I also have to change a bulb on my Forester. I had felt under the dash and couldn't reach the bulbs I was agonising over how difficult it was going to be to remove the dash etc all for a lousy small bulb. Geoff

    Hi, I am new to this site. I have a 1999 Forester 5 speed 2 Litre We are going more offroad with our Forester and also towing a camper trailer. We have found that the low range is not really low enough. Is there a retro fit "lower" low range set of gears or gear box available for our vehicle. Also is there a huge benefit from fitting a LSD to the Forester for off road ? Thanks
