  1. Okay, had trouble starting my car, felt like it was almost stalling. I had this happen earlier but I used some fuel injector cleaner and it went away for about 2 months. I checked the pan and there are no dents. Tried coasting through some circles at full lock and the car would not move, at 2/3rds it would barely creep. Definitely the duty c solenoid then?
  2. I plan on fixing it myself, just went to aamco to get the code pulled since it was free. I did try the secret handshake, 1) Warm up the engine 2) Turn the ignition switch OFF 3) Turn the ignition switch ON 4) Start the engine 5) Drive the vehicle at speeds greater than 12 MPH 6) Stop the vehicle 7) Depress the brake pedal and move the gear selector to "1" 8) Turn the ignition switch to OFF 9) Turn the ignition switch to ON 10) Move the gear selector to "2" 11) Move the gear selector to "1" 12) Move the gear selector to "2" 13) Move the gear selector to "3" 14) Move the gear selector to "D" but nothing flashed. Haven't checked the pan, I'll check it out and do some tight circles in the morning.
  3. So I recently got the 16 flashes on my Subaru. Its a 2.2L Impreza with 140K. I believe it is the duty c solenoid but I'm having trouble getting a code. The code flashes after every startup irregardless of whether it has been driven on the previous startup. I've put in a 20A fuse in the FWD slot but no light shows up on the dash indicating FWD. I've taken to AAMCO to get the code pulled but they said nothing was in history or maybe they couldn't pull it? I've also tried grounding out the 5th pin on the b82 connector by plugging in one of the two ground wires but still nothing flashed, maybe I did it wrong? Need some advice on what to do or what you guys think it is, I'd rather not go pay 100 dollars for a diagnostic at the dealership and have nothing show up. Thanks, Matttery.
