Well my forester has a full size spare and there is nothing in the owners manual about disabling the rear drive.

You guy's are great.

speaking of the FWD fuse, my manual does not show one nor can i find it under the hood. Is there an alternate way to disable the rear AWD to check the system

Yes they do ,have tried to keep all the same size.what is involved with the repairing or replacing the center diff? It really sounds like the noise? is coming from the rear.

It is jerking in both turns and straight, cold and warmed up. Under acceleration straight you can feel it trying to catch? 155,000 m,iles.

The problem is the LSD clutches are grabbing. I feel the LSD in the diff is going bad. Ring and pinion are OK.

What rear differential can be used in a 2005 forester xs model a/t. anyone have a compatibility reference? Thanks.
