Can I use a power steering pump from a 97 outback on a 99 Forester?? It has same bolt pattern the housing on the 97 (not the canister the main housing) just looks a little smaller..pulley and where hoses hook up are the same wondering if it will work on my Forester as my Forester just started turning hard

Does anyone know if I can use a power steering pump from a 97 outback on a 99 Forester...it will bolt right on its just lil smaller..don't know if it will work or not
