Hi I'm new to Subaru forums but thought i would join because i like Suby's (i only have 2) and also because i have a question about the auto on one of them. it's a 10/2000 outback trans number TZ1A4ZFCBA-LT. i need a new trans and have been calling around trying to find a second hand one with the same numbers with no luck. i have been told by some wreckers that the numbers do not matter. i know some of the number are to do with the electrical plugs and others to do with the diff gearing but do all the numbers have to be the same on the new trans? i have been looking on the net with mixed results so thought i would ask the question to people that love these cars as much as i do. any help would be awesome thanks Jazz
