    Thanks. Was thinking about possibly keeping FWD so I don't have to put the whole rear drive setup together save some money and work.

    I've always wanted a Subaru and now I have one. Got a 2006 Impreza NA with AT that was blown up to the shop. Customer could not afford it now it's my project car. Trying to read as many posts as possible and it looks like either en ej20 or ej25 hopefully ej255 for a turbo option and swap to MT will fit. I have read that the wiring harness would need to be changed over, ecu and a list of other components. Is there a preference to which engine to put in? The goal of the car is just to track so it will not be getting smogged any longer.
