    My poor little suby died :-( it appears to be the distributor gear on the crack shaft, I want to fix it but don't know if it's fixable?

    I have a 87 GL, and it just quit running one day . After some digging I found it is the worm gear on the crank shaft. I was wondering if this means I will have to take the engine apart to fix it? Anyone here fixed this problem?
