Hi, My Sportswagon (might be called something different in US*) is intermittently down (a lot) on acceleration. I suspect it may be a lack of fuel??? So, possibly I need to locate the fuel filter and fuel pump. Can any advise on their location? *1800cc single cam per bank, single range manual transmission, with all wheel drive Impreza wagon... Here in Australia it's badged "Sportswagon".

G'day, I googled "Subaru fuel pump" and found your site on the list. I decided to subscribe as no doubt it's good place to make friends with like minded people and I'm sure there's a wealth of Suby information to share here too. My Sub is a 94 Imp Sportswagon with the 1800 single cam per bank engine. I chose the 94 model as it's the lightest of the Imprezas... and it was cheap :-) Motorsport was a hobby in the '80s, I constructed/drove/raced back then, now I just spectate. Photography is a long standing hobby too. My avatar is a shot of the late great Ayrton Senna I took at Adelaide in 1989. The photo of my Suby attached is a shot taken with my old cellphone.
