  1. sticky temp control buttons

    My temperature control buttons on my 1999 Legacy Outback are very sticky. It looks like I have to take off the panel covering them. I found a description of how to do this - take out screws and then "wiggle" off - but my upper panel won't wiggle off and I am afraid of breaking it. Please help - this is one of the reasons my husband wants me to get a new car but mine is working just fine and has a lot of miles yet to go - I hope.
