I have the intire engine minus a coil. The harnes is mostly there but has been cut. That is why I was thinking i would have to build from the computer I get to the sensors that are essential to make it run.

The engine is an early 90s legacy engine. Building a vw baja beetle.

Good morning, I am doing an engine swap. I need to know what sensors are required to make in run reliably. I picked up an engine and it has most of the wiring harness still attatched. I a plan to get an ecu but not sure if any particular year is better then other. Then i will find the wiring pin out for that computer and start making my harness. I just want to say thank you for the help in advance.
