  1. I know the weak link in a SVX is its transmission. I want to install a cooler. The smallest I can find is about 6" high. Anyone done this? Brand recommendations? Think it can be made to fit under the radiator? I have a front air dam that helps with shielding and rock strikes. tks
  2. I have a 92 SVX and it is a project. I got the car it was all there just been abused but was running. I was driving it and started accelerating and it just quit running and would not start. Could smell fuel in the cylinders and it would cough and that was it. Pulled the cover off the timing belt and it was there in good condition. So I thought it might be a timing sensor. Replaced it with a new one and still same isssue. Doing on line research about the crank sensor and its location I find conflicting information about a 3rd sensor possibly by one of the coil packs? Checking, Rock Auto, when I type in crankshaft sensor it takes me to the camshaft sensor. Are these the same part? I find conflicting information on that as well as being able to use a crank sensor from the same year of Legacy with a install modification. Is there a third sensor and where is it? I have a ordered a repair manual but it wont be here for awhile. Thanks for any info. When I get it presentable I will post pics, I love these cars.
