  1. Blown Spark plug hole

    I have a 1995 Impreza wagon with the 1.8L. It blew out the Driver side rear Spark plug. Took it to a local shop that found it probably already had been Heli-coil repaired as the one they got to put in my engine wouldn't fit, hole too big. Is there another way to fix it on the cheap? They asked about looking for a replacement Head but I don't hold out much hope. I know the 95 - 96 came with a 2.2L option also & have found one locally from a 2000 ... Will it fit without a bunch of mods ?? Feeling totally F**'d .. Any thoughts helpful .. Doc
