I figure I will put about 8-9k per year, so the 10yr/100k will be perfect
The inservice date of the car I'm looking at is 12/10/16 and the car has 8600 miles on it. So the Gold plus would take me out to 12/10/26 and if I average under 10k/yr I should be fine.
Thanks

Hi All,
New to the forum and ready to buy my 1st Subie.
I was told by the dealer that I cannot buy a Gold Plus 10yr/100k extended warranty if the car has been certified 7yr/100k drivetrain.
So I asked if they could remove the CPO certification so that I could add the extended warranty. Does anyone know if this can be done?
I am buying this car for me, but in 6 or 7 years it will go to the kids and I'd like to have it covered bumper-to-bumber the entire time we have it.
Thanks in advance,
Moose

Thanks for the Kevin & Carl's names!
The dealer that has the car at the price I want said they can't do it. But when I called a local dealer they said no problem, but couldn't match the price of the other dealer on a similar car.
Thanks for the responses and I hope to be a regular soon on these boards.
