    Well, I am gonna see how the rebuild goes. Seems like the Weber is a good upgrade if this pos hitatchi does not work.

    New guy to forum. Long time lurker. I am at the understanding that if I gut the anti diesel solenoid "aka take the needle out" I can avoid replacing it.. solely to verify correct carb operating as intended. I'm am rebuilding the carb and the wire broke off of it..."was taped" before I messed with it. 1986 brat ea81 engine.
