for the life of me I can't get that thing off!there is so little room for pulling on it,and I geuss I am not strong enough or I am pulling in the wrong place...AAAAAAAAh!

I'm trying to replace my clutch cable(and housing) on my 93 Legacy wagon,but I can't figure out how to get the old one to come out where it is held at the pedal.I got the actual cable out but can't get the housing loose.What seemed like a simple job has turned into a nightmare!Anyone got the answers?
