I too am searching for a media (podcasts, mostly) player that plays nice with my 2016 forester. I think the bluetooth connection is more seamless. My old motorola android phone running Winamp worked, sort of: at least play/pause on the Subaru touch screen worked Ok, and that's all I really need. I make a playlist when downloading new podcasts and select that up front. Now on a Samsung J7 android phone. When the ground thaws, I'll use a sound-isolating "Drummer's Headset" while working outside. Any better options for a player, or should I stick with the tried and true Winamp?
