Hey guys I recently (over the last year) became a Subaru owner and just now a member of this great resource. I could use some advice on my 2.5 99 Outback Legacy has ran pretty great over the time I've had it. The clutch release bearing went out in and rather than spending the close to $1000 replace it, I did it in my friends garage over a long night. We ended pulling the engine rather than dropping the clutch. Anyways when I went to hook the battery up we had not hooked the starter ground fully and got a few good sparks and pops. The clutch feels great and she starts up just fine, but now my temp gauge and fuel gauge are failing to operate properly and my heater is taking unusually long to get warm. You guys think I just forgot to plug in a couple wires, nothing really I can see is missed. Or maybe I fried some electrical when initially missing the ground? Any helpful input would be appreciated. Thanks!
