  1. where is that gravel pit? it looks like it would be fun in my bicyle and my subie
  2. Its now mine, I'm the proud owner of an 86 gl. Thanks for all your encouragement, all I had to do is replace the rear taillight and its completely drivable. I've already had a blast bombing up and down fire roads and am really glad to be part of the group.
  3. So I think I'm going to take a step in the subaru and hopefully right direction. I set off in a quest to replace a 1991 ford f150 that wasn't good for much else than using gas. I started looking at mid size suv's, something that I could use for a daily driver and wheel on weekends, an 80's 4runner was my choice car. Then, a friend offered to sell me his 1986 gl wagon for 500 bucks. Now, it may not be the nicest looking old car but 500$$. So, I think I'm going to go for it. Its got the 5 spd d/r transmission, AC, newer tires, clean interior, the exterior has a couple quarter size dents and the paint isn't great. So I need some convincing, will this thing wheel where I want it too? I know they are great cars and I really like doing my own car work so I think this might be the car for me. And man they look pretty bada$$ witha 4 inch lift and some 28 inch tires. Good to be part of the board and hopefully I can join everyone in owning a subaru:brow:. Convince me and tell me its the greatest thing to do in the WORLD!! Later Connor
