Good morning and thank you, when you say the arm of the transmission do you mean the short section that attaches the mechanism to the wiper motor? If so, that arm is currently pointed toward the passenger side of the car. Thank you again Shell

Thank you but We didn't replace the motor, only the wiper transmission, now when we turn the wipers on, the rotation goes towards the passenger side of the car first as opposed to the driver's side as it should.

The windshield wipers appear to be running backwards after replacing the wiper transmission on my 1998 Impressa can someone please give me some guidance on how to correct this issue. Thank you so much in advance, much appreciated!
