    Hi, I hail from South Africa. Got my first Subaru, a Forester XT 2004, a few months ago and absolutely love it to bits. She's a high mileage one, 345,000km but still going strong. She uses a bit of oil and makes some funny noises in the front suspension, but it doesn't seem too serious. I am actually quite excited to start scratching around under the hood, planning an engine rebuild some time, and some suspension upgrades for better offroad capability. In the meantime driving her as is, and getting to know the car a little better. Looking forward to see what the Subaru community gets up to with their Subies. Cheers
