Presumably you mean the rubber ATF fluid hoses? What cracked and what work was done?
What symptoms did you have leading up to the failure?
Check engine lights?
Trans codes?
Is the transmission pan dented any?
no dents on pan
Yes rubber hoses going to cooler
Symptoms not sure I wasn't driving....wife was.. her description was was the car is revving but not moving....

Will do that now but immediately after switching off oils was right

I filled where the long dipstick is....the.short dipstick.was never low.

I doubt it. (unless we are no longer dealing with an automatic trans equipped car)
look again, one stick on each side
pull both sticks out - the shortest is the front differential, the longest is for ATF.
(engine oil would be some length in-between)
The long dipstick is on the left and the short on the right...
That is if you are standing in front of the car.

I hate to ask- are you sure you added fluid to the transmission and not the front differential?
In South Africa when standing in front of the car the dipstick for the gbox is on the left at the back.

did you check trans fluid level while idling?
it's the only fluid you must check with the engine running.
Yes I did????

Yes taken the terminal off many times. Is there are any other way to reset the transmission, or the transmission control module?
