  1. shift lock over ride 99 legacy?

    I have a 1999 legacy 4 door sedan and in cold weather the shift lever will not release. The solinoid was replaced but I still have the problem. In older models there is/could be a red button to manually unlock the lever. Is this true of the 99's sedans? I would like to know where and how to get to the relay that is some where under the dash when the button is first pressed. Lee
