  1. Ya original I’m sure. ! But doesn’t explain the speedo and Tom jumping now
  2. Well both cv ax8 are out and appear to be just fine splines are fine on both wheel bearings and shafts please help
  3. Diff fluid clean very very small flakes like just a couple shimmery pieces less then grain of pepper I'd say nothing
  4. Both cv axles seem to be spinning just fine and together obviously opposite each other , when I rotate the tire on drivers side forward the opposite goes backwards
  5. I ll clarify just the gauge needle goes up the actual engine is only at like 3000 rpm
  6. It was fine was late when looked last night drivers cv axle seems fine have front end of car off the ground both tires spin freely I'm at a loss ? Is my front diff pooched ?
  7. The drivers side is definitely dislodged from diff side , I ll be taking it apart tomorrow
  8. Just bought my first Subaru Outback excited to have it ! It has 190000 miles on it , I was diagnosing the torque bind. I put a fuse in fwd. holder , I backed up literally like 10 ft and loud clunk lound grinding noises coming from underneath. ! I shut car off pulled fuse. Now I don’t have park ! It rolls in park. And everything still shifts fine but I start driving past 35 miles an hour and the speedo jumps to almost 90 miles per hour and rpm goes to 6000 ! I’m lost.
