  1. So my son has an 06 legacy sedan, and he’s only 18 and does not listen well when told to check his oil. Ran it dry. Now has a rod knock. So being the father that I am, I’m trying to research what year cars I’d have to locate wrecked for an engine swap. So please, and help with info is appreciated. Not looking to spice it up, just get him rolling again. Oh... knock is only there when starting car, and when rpms go above 3 grand... but it’s still shot in my mind. But anything we can do to get another month of easy driving out of it??
  2. Checking further into it, yes, tears will not fit. Different mounting. But, I’d love to find out more about what I can swap into my L to give me more ride height without too much troubles.
  3. So I’m new here... looking for info... I have a 2003 legacy L sedan and want a little more height. Have the option to purchase struts from a 2003-08 Forester, wanted to know if that’s a direct bolt in, or if I need to change anything. Also, I’ve noticed people talking about disconnecting sway bar... what about adding a bracket to drop the sway bar 2 inches or so?? Any and all advise appreciated!
