    Yes it does shift through all the gears just won't kick down into 3rd from 4th when you punch it

    I need help When I drive in 4th gear on freeway and I punch it. The rpms go high and it does not kick down into 3rd gear it trys to go in to 2nd but not 3rd. I think it's a solenoid but which one

    It shifts fine all other times just the kick down from 4th to 3rd
