  1. 93 Legacy Right Front Transaxle removal

    Help!!! I have purchased the Haynes manual for my 93 Legacy and followed the instructions to replace the right front transaxle. However, I can't break the retaining nut loose on the axle shaft. I hvae already broken 1/2 breaker bar...I wonder if I might be turning the breaker bar in the wrong direction. I have been turning counter-clockwise (to the left). I have not indication if this is right. The replacement axle nut turns to the left...therefore, I assume the old nut will do the same. Edward
