tried sea foam in tranny but at this point no help guess only thing to do is take to shop and see what happens

If I remember my 93 it was a flashing led right under steering turned on car and counted flashes most of the time found it to be egr. cleaned it and replaced 1 other part don't remember what and still check engine light was on had friend at garage check said most likely bad ECU advised to ignor sold 1 year later check engine light still on and off no problems driving

I have a 99 Impreza wagon 67,000 miles has always run fine till this winter. I have noticed that when cold it slips going into 3rd gear it seem to stop when it is driven 15 or 20 min.fluid changed every 30,000 miles and just changed the fluid and external filter didn't seem to help. any ideas other than live with it or change tranny?
