  1. Question- Are there any differences between a non-turbo 1988 DL block and a 1992 Loyale non-turbo? The Bullets bore is beyond oversize pistons so looking at this swap as an option. Thanks
  2. Any ideas on why when making a long righthand corner the engine (88 EA82, 200k) will ping and then a cloud of smoke is being discharged from my tailpipe? I'm not talking about a little puff but, a huge 2-3 lane wide, 150ft long monster. Is it possible crank is pulling oil up past pistons into the combustion chamber or pressure relief valve is bad? Anybody else have this problem? Thanks TSB
  3. I had mice making nests inside the heater core area in thesilverbullet (88 DL wagon). Look under the hood, right below the windshield there are the vents to the heater. I covered the vents with a fine wire mesh by lacing it with wire. No problems since.
  4. Hello, this is my first post to this forum. I really enjoy reading the threads here! There is a wealth of information available but I can't find this. I'm in the process of resealing and putting new gaskets in my 88 DL wagon, 1800cc. My Chiltons guide does not have the sequence I need, even thou it should cover this model year....? Does anyone know of a link or could someone supply it to me? Thanks
