I have tried to search here for the answer but no luck.
I have a '90 Loyale that is driving me crazy with a code 34. I replaced the EGR solenoid but it still throws the code immediatly after its cleared.
I can't bypass the EGR with a resistor as I am guessing wont pass smog then.
I know the manifold is producing vacuum and the solenoid closes when 12V is applied. Has to be the signal to the solenoid itself. Is there a temp sensor that controls the solenoid? There are no sensors anywhere else in the EGR system that could cause that code? Where to look next?
Thanks in advance.
