  1. Thanks for the reply... from what I've heard, the way the '05 radios are configured, an aftermarket is out of the question.. at least for now... I don't care so much about controlling the ipod thru the radio, but more about getting decent quality sound out of the ipod thru the radio. The iTrip just ain't cutting it... I thnk I saw over at Scoobymods, a way to do it, but you need to have a CD changer input (DIN?) in the back of the head unit. I just didn't want to have to pull half my dash off to verify that I can do it. I wish it had an AUX in front.. it would mek is 10000 times easier to deal with! Thanks for the help Jeff
  2. Thanks, Actually the info isn;t in the book... and I not usually in the habit of "pushing" it too far if the light comes on. I just wanted to make sure that if the light came on on my way home from work, I'd be able to make it home without a problem... Thanks again jeff
  3. Heya'll... I've had my '05 Outback sport for about 3 weeks now, and love it... quick question... once the fuel light comes on, how much gas is actually left, and about howq many miles can I push it before filling up again? Any help would be great! Thanks Jeff
  4. Thanks, i'm just concerned that there may not be any wires, to tap into, as the changer and radio seem to be a 1 piece unit. I wish I could find a schematic, or at least a picture of the back on it, without having to pull it all out myself. Jeff
  5. I just bought me an Outback Wagon Sport with the P-133, 6 disc in-dash changer. I'd like to hook my ipod directly to it, if possible. I hit this site, and Scoobymods, and saw that it is possible if I have the CD Changer input. Does anyone know if there is one there? I looked thru the book that came with the car, but nothing was listed. Also, is there any other way to hook an ipod up? I can use the FM Transmitter, but the sound kinda sucks... too staticy... the reception was better in my old F150.... but the Subie is way more fun to drive, and a helluva lot cheaper on gas! Any help would be great... Jeff
  6. I'm gonna bump this one.. I'm in the same boat... bought my first Subie last Tuesday, an Outback Sport Wagon... it's da bomb... but the ipod Radio reception kinda blows... This is also my first post, and my first subie! Any help would be great... Jeff
