a couple of folks here mentioned using wd40 as it displaces water. if anyone has info to the contrary please let me know, i heard wd40 accelerates oil breakdown which makes it a bad choice to use on rubber and plastic since they are made from oil. drying and cracking result from exteded usage. anyone have info on this?

since i'm in canada it works a bit different up here. only the dealer can offer me an extended warranty. my insurance coverage has nothing to do with operating defects. are there any issues on the automatic that might be of importance? i've been searching on this forum and didnt come up with much, i'll keep looking. great forum!

just signed the papers on a 2005 2.5i ! very pleased with my purchase and should be taking delivery in a few days. have many of you here taken an extended warrantee? its about the only thing i think i would need since it's so well equipped to begin with. anyone have any advice pertaining to this model or brand? anything i need to look out for? well, TIA all! cant wait for delivery! cheers!
