I have an '05 2.5i Outback wagon. I would like to switch out the stock 16" wheels for 17" ones. The dealer told me that this would mess up the cars sensors. Has anyone else done this switch? Is the dealer correct? Feedback please.

I have an '05 Outback 2.5i wagon with auto. It has under 9,000 miles on it. Got an email from the dealer that I should have the tires rotated at next oil change. Seems a little soon to me. How often do you rotate your tires with an AWD system?

I have a '05 2.5i Wagon with the 16" wheels. I really like the look of the '06 with the standard 17"ers. Can I just get the larger rims and tires or do I have to change suspension and other things? Has anyone already done this?

Was in the same boat as you. Got an '05 Outback 2.5i, wanted the moonroof but not the leather. Looked at some aftermarket ones but non compared to the factory one. If I could get a factory one installed, I would jump on it!

I have read about and saw a thread with an image of the Euro version of the center armrest extension for an '05 Outback. Has anyone ever ordered one (online) and installed one? Would like to know your experience. It seems to be larger and more practical. What about cost? Thanks..

Talked to K&N and they told me that they put out one that will fit the end of last month. I had been given thw wrong info from some dealers. Problem is that they sold out quickly and they don't know when new ones will be produced. Y You were right. Thanks for the info!

Wanted to get a Fram Air Hog for a '05 Outback 2.5i but they don't make one. Anyone know of a similar air filter that would fit?

Has anyone installed a hood protector on an '05 Outback. I had one, a few years back, on a Nissan Pathfinder and it rubbed the paint off at the hood edges. I want to install the Subaru factory one but have that reservation. Also does it do any good? Would appreciate any feedback.
