  1. So...I have been told that the Infinity 6002i's will fit in my 02 OBW by the guy at the local stereo store but I would like to hear from people on this board. Has anyone put 6002i speakers in their OBW? Is any cutting involved? I know how to do the work but don't want to buy something that requires extra work...unless it is simple enough. I'm not ready to bust out the power saws quite yet. If no one has installed the 6002i's can someone recommend other speakers that will require no extra work besides taking off the panels and screwing in the new speakers. The Infinty's have been given excellent review for their value and it seems other owners like them but I'm just not sure if they will fit. Infinity also make the 6002si for "shallow" installs but they seem to be harder to find for the price I'm willing to pay. (Ebay) Thanks for your help, Dirck
  2. I am planning to purchase a dog barrier for our 02 Outback wagon (no moonroof). Does any one know if this will fit? I think the dog barriers are different for the 00 and above models. I can't seem to find anything on the web as far as dimensions, etc. Some web sites that sell them new ask for specific model of car, others do not. Thanks in advance for the help. http://home.comcast.net/~dirckl2/ Dirck
  3. I've done my research and can't seem to find and detailed info on the double din 6 disc in dash changer stereo. I would like to purchase one off of Ebay and willing to do the install my self but I can go down to Car Toys and get an Eclipse MP3 player for roughly the same price. Besides the fact that theives probably aren't the biggest OEM fans and the possible clean look for resale value I don't have a problem buying third party if it means getting good sound. I eventually want to add a sub and amp and not sure if the OEM stereo can handle that. Any websites will be extremely helpful Thanks in advance, Dirck
  4. My wife and I just purchased a used 02 Outback and would like to replace the radio and tape player with a cd or 6 disc changer. Our deck now is the single DIN opening with two openings (we use it for change, etc) below the stereo. I was wonder if I purchased a double din stereo like the link below on ebay if I will be able to basically do a plug and play like most people say. I would love just to swap it out and snap a new one in place without have to cut wires and attach everything up again. Thank you for your help advance. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3047143486&category=32815 Thanks, Dirck
