Yeah I returned it now I am rebooting my old ones.
I put one axle back together but after looking at the manual it says I needed to align the trunion to the shaft as well as the rollers to the trunion. I didn't do this. I'm not sure how you can even align the rollers to the trunion doesn't make sense they just spin around. I didn't put the axle back on yet but do i need to take it apart to align the trunion? I'm not even sure how I will do this now since I never marked it to begin with. Are there any factory markings? If I knew the alignment matter I wouldnt have even removed the trunion. Could have just removed the boots from the other side

Can anyone confirm if this is actually OEM? It's supposed to come from a 2009 legacy but I read that its supposed to be green and I don't see any green at all. I suppose its possible all of the paint wore off.

I purchased this axle its supposed to be OEM. But compared to pictures I see it seems to be missing the little shields at the end that I circled. Will I be able to just pull these off my old one and put them on? I'll clean up the splines. Supposed to only have 71k on it and the boot looks good with no leaking anywhere

I could have sworn I looked up the part last year and it was like 180 bucks. Now I'm looking and its 450? Is this real life. Am I going to regret using this GSP heavy duty one?

Do I need the fuse #1 R FOG/C FAN TRAIL and #13 12V PLUG? I don't think my car even has rear fog lights and I don't have any trailer hitch on my car. It's a 2005 subaru legacy. The other fuse online says its a cargo socket? I don't know what that is. Ideally I'd like to just install the dashcam into fuses that are for parts of the car that I don't ever use at all.

Shop said my rear diff is leaking. Is it as simple as just taking that plate off and replacing the gasket? It seems like that metal brace is in the way. is it easy to remove?

2005 subaru legacy 2.5. What parts do I need to do this? Are there crush washers that I need for any of the drain plugs/filler plugs? Anyone know what sockets are needed for the front and rear? I've seen videos online where its a square and the other is a torx?

well it went away on its own today. once i do the tune up hopefully that will keep it away

Why did you drive 20 miles then check the oil? Did you not want to check it before you left and be seen by them?
My cel came on while driving home so they had someone come check out the car. So he checked the oil and scanned it. Turned out to be p0174 due to the maf sensor connection being loose from them messing with the airbox to check the filter. They had me go back to drain the oil a bit.
I live in California so I got to pass emissions. How do I clear the code and system so that it can pass? I read just clearing the light isn't enough. I just got my obd scanner tool so I'll clear it first and see how long it takes to come back

For me this code was my head gaskets. The code was thrown when excessive coolant was being burned. New had gaskets, code gone. Hasn't come back.
Do you have any other symptoms? How do your spark plugs look? Is the top radiator hose hard after driving? car hard to start? low coolant? Loss of heat? Erratic temperatures on the coolant temperature gauge?
Nope everything drives great. Temp is right in the middle every time. I ordered new plugs, pcv valve, coolant, air filter. Going to change all that. I did get oil change like 10 days ago and they overfilled it by like 1.5 inches on the dipstick. Drove like 20 miles like that before it was drained. I also filled up the tank maybe like 10 miles before the CEL came on. Heard it could be bad gas.

After watching some videos online this doesn't seem like something I'll be able to fix on my own. The car is a 2005 subaru legacy na with 89k miles. I don't think the cat would be bad. I also got a C0116 code. Anyone know what that is?

would puling all of the front and rear bulbs work to diagnose? then add just the turn signals? assuming this works then i could just add each other bulb one by one until the issue returns
-
its a regular bulb and i dont see any issues with the connectors. would a bad turn signal relay only affect one side?
-
Would this issue be only on the driver front headlight connectors or could it be passenger side or rear as well?
-
My driver side blinker blinks fast. The front driver side amber light will also not blink as brightly as the other side when locking/unlocking doors. I replaced it and also swapped the rear bulbs but issue is still there. Contacts were good and cleaned anyways. 2005 subaru legacy 2.5

2005 legacy with 80k miles on it. There is this ringing sound that occurs in drive and reverse. Appears to go away in park and neutral. It will also persist when driving occasionally. When it is absent when driving if I hit a bump in the road I'll hear it briefly. I read about loose heat shields causing squeaks. Does this sound like it?
is dealer wrong? cancelled my PCV valve order

I ordered 11810AA100 which says its for U5. I put my vin into the order form and they cancelled it and said I need 11810AA040. When I searched online it said U5 is california vehicle so isn't that what I have?
