  1. Hi! I have issue with opening car from the distance with OEM key fob. I thought that the problem in battery and do replacement exactly like here https://replacekeyfob.com/2019-subaru-forester . But after change, the car won't open at all. The led indicator is working, but nothing happens. Manual open with key is working. Is some extended reprogramming required after battery change or I have issue with key fob?

Got it all sorted out today. It was purely coincidence that the light went on after a change. The sensor was faulty. In the process of troubleshooting though, I now have a killer bee oil pickup and an oil gauge.

Sadly, the gauge is a cheap digital one so not sure how accurate it is. It says I have 20psi at warm idle and about 90psi at 4000 rpm. What are the proper pressures for this car?

    Oil Pressure:
    98 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm2, 14 psi) or more at 800 rpm

    294 kPa (3.0 kgf/cm2, 43 psi) or more at 5,000 rpm

Those eibach springs and GR2s are still on my XT6 (in pretty sorry condition). They ride taller than stock.

I believe that Japanese one in that speedhunters article is 4WD. It's a turbo with a 4EAT, and I see the height control button, meaning it had factory air suspension. Pretty unlikely to have all that and FWD.

Here's the setup I had on my Loyale. NB Miata shocks with coilover sleeve springs. This is Miata front shocks, the rears are about 4" shorter.

Or, if you don't care about ride quality. Grab some ebay coilover sleeves in a ludicrous spring rate, slip them over the stock shocks with no bump stop, and look baller (this was awful to drive on the street. I did an AutoX on a nice smooth runway once, it did well with that):

Eibach springs is pretty good first 30k miles and then they drop.
