  1. i haven't really tossed money.. just my own time.. termostat was like 16 dollars i'm just tired of climbing under there and smelling like rad. fluid. what does this test intail??? tanya
  2. hello.. first time to this sight... my subaru had a overheating problem when i drove out from richmond to tucson a few months ago.. i replaced my thermostat... that didn't work.. so i've been running w/out... today i flushed my radiator and reinstalled new thermostat... the temp gage started rising so now i'm going to pull it again... i'mm 99% sure my headgasget is NOT BLOWN.. no water in oil radiator fluid doesnt bubbble.. replaced cap as well... does anyone have any ideas... any help would be greatly appriciated tanya
