  1. I posted about this but am making a new post. I oreviously thought there might be a leak in the power steering hose that connects to the reservoir or the reservoir itself, but I took everything apart and didn’t see any cracks. After some more testing it looks like the leak is coming from the top of the reservoir, like out the cap itself? What could the problem be? I saw online that there may be a missing O ring where the hose from the reservoir and pump connect. I’ll attach some pictures. Thanks for any help.
  2. Would it be smart to bleed the fluid after I change the hoses ?
  3. Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well. Hey thanks again man I really appreciate it!
  4. I see what you’re saying. There’s a thicker rubber house towards the front of the reservoir and then a thinner one towards the back. I took these pics before work. I believe the thicker one is the culprit and the one you’re talking about. I really appreciate the insight !! Let’s see how tomorrow goes 😮‍💨
  5. Okay gotcha I’ll be sure to keep that in mind. By chance do you know what the hoses would be called? From my knowledge , there’s a high pressure hose and a low pressure hose
  6. I see I will have time this weekend to take things apart. Hopefully it’ll be a simple fix either way. Thanks!
  7. I noticed that I have power steering fluid leaking. I am wanting to change the reservoir as it looks like that might be the issue. I've never changed it so just wondering if anyone has any tips. Or is it really just a simple job.
