  1. Hi I have a 93 Loyale with about 179K on it. Its in ok condition. Two days ago the "Checkl engine" light came on and scared the hell out of me. I got home ok and the next morning I checked all the fluids (oil, brake, trans, anti-frezze) and everything was fine. The does not appear to be any different sounds coming from the engine either. I do have to admit that its been over a year since I did the last oil change. Could that be the cause? Maybe the oil filter or something simple like that? Thanks for your help in advance. David
  2. I will double check the battery and cables. The engine starts and sounds like it wants to starts but does't seem to catch
  3. Battery is fine. Everything comes on (lights, radio, etc).
  4. I have a 1993 Loyale. lately the car sometimes starts but will not turn over but if I leave it for about 24 hours after that then the engine turns over. Once I get it going their seems to be no problem. Anybody know what the problem is?
  5. Hi, I have a 1993 Loyale. Today while driving, I stopp at a stop sign and when I went to go I heard a clunk and when I came to the next stop sign and went to go, I went to where. The engine goes and it evs up when the gas is applied. However the wheels don't go. When I checked up the hood I found that one of the arms attached to the wheels (sorry about the techncal term:banghead: , not a car guy), spins while the other does not. Someone told me that it might be the transmission oil if its low, which it actualy is. My question before I junk the POS, is this guy correct and can I get this fixed cheaply?
