I bought 2 sleevees from autozone and cut the y-pipe and spun the bolt pattern 180 degrees and bolted the flange to the 2 brand new unused holes provided by the heads. mounted the sleeves and welded em tight-came out perfect. good luck

i have a 2WD 1986 2bbl EA82 5 speed. When i start it up and drive it from cold,it purrs. The problem I am having is when I restart the motor when it is warm, it drives fine for 2-3 minutes then stalls. It will not restart until it seems I get some sort of backfire in the exhaust, or it completely cools off. I can get it to start by goosing the accelerator but it will not run if i engage the clutch while goosing.I have a parts car that was running until the belts went (It had a bad rod knock so I found another car). I have moved many of the usual suspects over. They are carberator,distributor,coil,fuel pump. I installed NGK wires and did the whole tune up thing. Anybody with any ideas?
