  1. Speedometer/odometer failed after oil change

    shmegula posted a topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
    Hi I had my oil changed at jiffy lube (bad idea!) and as I was driving away my speedometer and odometer stopped. I assume they accidentally shook something loose, does anyone know where I would look to check/fix the problem (please be specific, I am not sure where the speedometer cable/parts are located, possibly near the oil pan?) It is a 1992 subaru loyale. Thanks
